손맛이 느껴지는 다른 분야보다 좀 더 기계/합리적인 폼을 추구하기가 적합한 면도 있고, 렌즈를 통해 만들어지는 이미지가 실재의 "물성"을 형태로만 집중하기가 알맞기도 하다. 하지만 뭣보다.
실상에서 반사된 빛으로 만들어지는 것이 사진이므로, 벼락처럼 변해가는 지구에서 뿜어내는 각종 현상을... 형식적으로 접근하지 않을 순 없을 것이다.

Antonio Zuccon lives and works in Treviso, Italy. With a degree in mathematics from the University of Padua, he became interested in photography in 1984 and immediately made a name for himself thanks to his highly personal style that has won him prestigious awards in numerous national and international competitions.
Zuccon is an ingenious, versatile individual who not only continues to be the coordinator for the province of Treviso at U.M.I. and at the Math Olympics held at the Scuola Normale Superiore di Pisa, but also is an opera singer.
His photographs, favorably reviewed in many trade publications, have been included in over 50 personal shows in a number of galleries.
One of his most esteemed works is his 밦uadrigrafie?series that will be seen this summer in Latina. Each image in this series is made up of four photographs which when combined virtually disappear to make way for a new image. The dynamic internal to each composite print springs from the creativity of the photographer who makes use of semantic or chromatic references in this formal and rigorously pure exercise. But there is nothing spontaneous about this process. It requires compositional skill and an eclectic capacity to envision signs that may appear in various forms. For example, a line drawn down a road or a discarded paint can. It is the concept of the coincidence between creative invention and geometric rules.
Those who choose the road of abstract photography must have developed a refined creative sensitivity that must measure itself against the mysteries of the universe. They must also have an intense and varied artistic cultural background because the arrival at a sort of graphic approach or creative simplicity is not an easy process, but rather the end result that bears testimony to a long and profound experience of observing. And this is the case with Zuccon.
An untiring photographer, he has produced a wide range of photographs dealing with nature and the environment. These photos have appeared in a series of books published by Vianello dedicated to picturesque towns in Friuli Venezia-Giulia, such as the 뱎ainted towns?of Bordano, Cibiana di Cadore and Venzone and the magnificent restored villages of Frisanco, Poffaro and Casasola.
From 16 July to 14 August 2004, the Fototeca Immaginario of the Stamperia San March 14 in Latina will be hosting at the Aspasia center (Corso della Repubblica 216) the exhibition entitled 밦uadrigrafie?by Antonio Zuccon. A selection of these photos will also be shown inside the Stamperia San Marco 14, Piazza San Marco 14, Latina.
